Default How do you quickly remove all sources?

At the moment, my sources list is overflowing.. That's why I'm here. I need a way to remove all of them without going through and pressing delete on each one, when I do that there's a 3 or 4 second waiting time for each source. That adds up, a lot.

Anyone know how?

That'd be quite a big problem; especially if you have like... 90+ sources as some of them evil "Add All Sources" packages does to you.

There is a file in ~/Library/Installer/ called PackageSources.plist that includes all the sources you've currently added. Make a backup of the file, so in case if you mess up, you can always fall back to the one with lots of sources. You can go and edit that file to remove each source's <dict> pair like so:
Code:
        <dict>
                <key>category</key>
                <string>Personalized Sources</string>
                <key>contact</key>
                <string>support@touchtoolset.com</string>
                <key>description</key>
                <string>Personalized Repo for TTS</string>
                <key>location</key>
                <string>http://repo.sc/TTS</string>
                <key>maintainer</key>
                <string>Chiisana Development, Inc.</string>
                <key>name</key>
                <string>repo.sc</string>
                <key>url</key>
                <string>http://www.touchtoolset.com/</string>
        </dict>
I know this process is not the most "newbie friendly", but because we don't know what sources you have, it is not possible to automatically remove them all for you...
Keeping in mind, that, however, we don't track absolutely everything known to man just yet (due to legality reasons, source "correctness" issues, and other security related issues), you probably shouldn't remove all the sources just yet. Here's the list that we do track: http://www.touchtoolset.com/repo-sou...d-sources.html

You can safely remove everything from there, and also remove some that you think you won't need. It really doesn't hurt any where near as bad when you only have 10 valid sources loaded as opposed to 90+ some down, some dead, some slow sources

lol.

I just went to uninstall and uninstalled community sources and Blaze softwares. That took care of 95% of them, the rest I deleted manually.

Ah, I guess that'd work too, if you added them automatically via some package, and it offers uninstall option. I'll make a note of that so when people asks again in the future, we can recommend it

I have another question..how do I remove all the packages from my repo.sc link?

When I view my packages on this site there are like 39 pages of packages, and I want to start over again but I do not want to press Remove Package on every single one..anyone can help?

There is no default function to do that right now... maybe I should add a "nuke it" link some where to do that. Please reply this thread to confirm that you would like all your selected packages removed from your personalized repo and I'll do it for you via the database directly
