Its been quite some time since my last update about the development status, as well as me tempting you guys with the new "
Package Detail View" preview

So, what have been done in the past few days after I've sorted out with my midterm? Here's a small development update for everyone...
Anti-spam:
As many people have brought up via private message, email, and other channels, one major concern for the community description and review system is spam. And I strive to make sure things are as spam-less as possible. You may or may not have noticed this, but in our bit over 1 month of operation, there are no visible spam threads -- you know, the regular iPhone and N85 for sale threads, or magic pills to help you entertain your better half threads, or we have the youngest flesh you can find anywhere threads. Well, the truth is not we're lucky and never been hit with any of them. In fact, we've already received around 10 of them, but thanks to the anti-spam system we have provided by the forum software, they're not visible to anyone other than myself.
I've planned the whole time to rely on the same anti-spam system, attach the community description and review system to it, and then pass it through a local
bayesian spam filter; however, this has been proven to be more complicated than I originally anticipated. After spending the last two and half day on attaching the community description to it, I think we're now ready to move on to the community review and screen shot modules.
I've also spent some time with my
HCI gurus, to work out a re-vamped layout for that previewed page. The new modified rough layout of that page is available here:

You'll notice that I've shifted around the components a little, to make it put more emphasis on the information about the package, and what packages are related based on community tracking. Hopefully, this will help you locate the packages that you are most interested better, and faster.
As usual, I'm open for recommendations / flames. I know I've dragged the development far too long, so feel free to let out some steam if you have to... maybe I'll be able to pick out some good suggestions from your rants, too!
