iPhone / BSD discussions... iPod Touch fans (linked on our main page) occationally talks about applications on the forum (and they are interchangeable with iPhone apps), so you can give that a try; alternatively, I think hackingtosh (not sure how to spell it nor where they place the 0 in their domain) is a nice place, too. Other than that, I'm probably as lost as you are
